This morning before breakfast Kyan told us that he wasn't going to talk for the rest of the day (which proceeded to last approx. 30 minutes). He wrote us messages on a piece of paper. Here's 3 of his messages stating what he wanted to do today.
|Wanted to point out that Kyan added the A in eating only after I mentioned it to him, and that he said that he already knew that "eating" had an A in it, but that he just wanted to spell it how it sounded.|
Yes, we did go for a bike ride today, after running a couple errands first. First stop was the soccer store to pick up Kyan's soccer uniform. He was accepted into a local soccer league, something he has been wanting to do since attending a soccer camp this summer, and his first practice is next tuesday.
Next stop was the local bicycle collective. Kyan and Damek have both outgrown their bikes, so Kyan is now riding Damek's bike, which meant that Damek now needed a bike. We donated Kyan's bike to the Salt Lake City Bicycle Collective and purchased a "new" bike for Damek there as well as a kickstand for Kyan's bike (he was rather upset when he saw that Damek's bike had a kickstand since his doesn't).

and then headed over to ride the ferris wheel and do the paddle boats at the pond in the middle of the park.
